Never Alone Initiative Weekend Workshops allow participants to really experience Scripture within their own relationships as led by an Intimate Life Trainer. Each workshop focuses on a specific type of relationship such as marriage, parenting or single adult friendships. Together we explore and become better equipped through God's antidote to the "First Human Crisis" - removing aloneness
through developing or strengthening deep meaningful
relationships with each other.

Key Objectives of Never Alone Week-end Workshops:
- All participants experience scripture lived out in their relationship with God and with others, especially their "nearest ones."
- All participants are challenged to ask a different question concerning their closest relationships: "What should God be receiving from this relationship?"
- Some participants become equipped and motivated to minister to others, leading classes and groups as follow-up to the Workshops.

Content Areas:
- More Than Married (marriage enrichment, using the Intimate Encounters resources)
- Parenting with Intimacy (parent-child relationships, using the Parenting with Intimacy resources)
- Discovering Intimacy (single adult relationships using the Discovering
Intimacy resources)
- Relational First Aid (General care giving principles designed to equip
anyone to administer "first aid" to others)
Format:
Seven hours of content offered Friday evening and Saturday, Saturday only, Saturday and Sunday, or Sunday only

Workshop Details
$250 Deposit
$50 per couple or $25 per individual
50 person minimum
Church covers trainer travel and accomodations (we try to find a trainer couple near you) - airfare or mileage ($.33 1/2 per mile)
ILM pays the trainer honorarium ($300)
Host Churches are free to charge more, or help underwrite the costs in order to charge less.
Each participant receives a copy of the relationally appropriate resource Intimate Encounters, Discovering Intimacy, Parenting with Intimacy or Relational First Aid (these are the same resources used for ongoing ministry - classes, small groups and counseling)
With each workshop the church receives 100 Color Brochures to promote the workshop, a promotional/administrative CD-rom and a posting on www.GreatCommandment.net. Additionally, with the More Than Married Workshop you will receive 5 full color posters, and a promo video.
To encourage ongoing relational ministry following each workshop, the host church or organization is given a Leaders Kit covering the topic introduced in the workshop. Use these kits to start small groups, mentor teams or for counseling.
Host Churches or Organizations will have the opportunity to purchase additional workbooks and resources such as couples devotionals, family activities books and books on experiencing freedom in your everyday life at a significantly reduced price.
