Joe Dotson
Joe Dotson serves as Online Pastor with the Florida Administrative Office of the Church of God of Prophecy. In this role, Joe seeks to assist the administrative office team in mediums of communication that would include online declaration and implementation of the gospel, equipping people for works of service, discipleship, and evangelism in the community, related to online ministries.
Joe is an ordained minister in the Church of God of Prophecy and has served the Florida administrative office since 2003. He also served as a middle school Business and Technology teacher from 2004 to 2021.
Joe is working to bring a human connection to an online congregation and helping pastors care for those who attend online services.
Joe and Heather Dotson
Joe and Heather Dotson have been married since 1995 and have one beautiful daughter, Skyler. Joe serves as the online pastor and Heather serves as the office assistant for the Florida Administrative Office of the Church of God of Prophecy. They have served the administrative office since 2003. Joe and Heather created “Cord of Three” in an effort to help strengthen married couples in the state of Florida.
The name, Cord of Three, is based on the verse found in Ecclesiastes 4:12b, “A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” Marriages are strained and under attack like never before. Making them “not easily broken” is vital. We look to the unbreakable Cord, knowing He will fight with us for our marriages to be strong and whole. In our journey together, we will discover that we face similar things and realize we are not alone.
